The evening showcased the talent of WRVS members and friends of WRVS in an evening of music, poetry, and art.

Attendees enjoyed a drink and viewed artwork by Ruth Hurst, Margot Dias, Kitty McLaughlin, Greg Hughes, and Ormand Fannon in the pretty cloisters decorated with 18th-century tiles.

They were then entertained by a magnificent recital by members of the St. Paul's Ensemble; Esther Georgie on clarinet, Stephanie Abson and Jorge Lé on violin, Leonor Braga Santos on viola, and Teresa Araújo on cello. Interspersed by poems by the Blue Orange Poets, José Marques, David Sampson, Beth Bendry, and Jean Page.

The event was a fundraiser for Associação Sol, which supports children with HIV.

Casa Sol provides a home for children and young people living with HIV/AIDS, ensuring their social and medical needs are met. It also encourages the integration of people living with HIV/AIDS into society. The donations received were for their annual summer camp, which aims to provide 15 young people infected with HIV with a different holiday where they can all share the experiences and doubts they face due to being HIV carriers.
