Starting today, the festival returns to Hipódromo Manuel Possolo, where the main stage is, and to the adjacent Parque Marechal Carmona, where there is a second stage and an area with bars and restaurants.

Doors open at 7pm and concerts start at 8pm.

Air are the big highlight of the first day. The duo will present the album “Moon Safari”, released 25 years ago, in its entirety at the festival, which includes songs such as “Sexy Boy”, “Kelly Watch the Stars” and “All I Need”.

On Wednesday, North American singer Chaka Khan, the voice of songs such as “I'm Every Woman” and “Ain't Nobody”, will take the stage, visiting Portugal as part of her tour to celebrate 50 years of her career.

The third day of CoolJazz, on July 19th, is entirely dedicated to Portuguese music, with Dino D’Santiago, Maro, Rogério Pitomba Trio, and a DJ set by Progressivu.

A regular presence at the festival, Canadian singer and pianist Diana Krall takes the stage on July 26th.


On July 27th, Brazilian singers Marina Sena and Luedji Luna, Portuguese singers Salamandra, and producer Sónia Trópicos will perform in a DJ set.

For the penultimate day of the festival, performances by New Zealanders Fat Freddy’s Drop, Portuguese Expresso Transatlântico, Portuguese-Angolan pianist and composer Gisela Mabel, and Portuguese DJ Matilde Castro are scheduled.

This year, the closing of CoolJazz, on July 31st, is the responsibility of British singer and pianist Jamie Cullum, another regular at the festival.
