Despite not scoring a single goal from open-play, France are still a dangerous outfit, with Kylian Mbappé unable to hit any sort of form thus far in the tournament.

Spain have been the ‘tournament entertainers’, scoring eleven goals in the competition. Players such as Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams have sparkled in the tournament.

On Wednesday, the BVB Stadion Dortmund will host the Netherlands and England in the second semi-final. Both sides haven’t reached their full potential as of yet, however – it is a testament to both sides to have got to this stage of the tournament without playing their best football.

The Netherlands have only ever won one European Championship, where they beat the-then Soviet Union 2-0 in the final in Germany. England reached the final of the last European Championships, however – they were beaten by Roberto Mancini’s Italy at Wembley Stadium on penalties.

Tuesday:

Spain vs France - 8pm
